Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) § 1798.120, California residents have the right to opt-out of the "sale" of their personal information. This page allows you to exercise that right.

What This Means

"Sale" under CCPA means the sharing of personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration. At Robinhood Claims:

  • We collect information from individuals who may have claims against Robinhood
  • We sell this information to licensed attorneys who pay us a lead generation fee
  • The attorneys use this information to contact you about potential legal representation

By submitting this form, you are requesting that we:

  • Stop selling your personal information to attorneys
  • Delete or flag your information as "do not sell"
  • Not share your information with any new attorneys

If you opt-out of the sale of your information, we will not be able to connect you with attorneys, which is the primary purpose of our service. If you have already submitted information and want to be connected with attorneys, you should not submit this form.

What Happens After You Submit

  1. Verification: We will verify your identity to ensure the request is legitimate. We may contact you for additional information.
  2. Processing: We will flag your information as "do not sell" in our database and cease sharing it with attorneys.
  3. Timeline: We will complete your request within 45 days, as required by CCPA § 1798.130(a)(2).
  4. Confirmation: You will receive an email confirmation once your request has been processed.

Note: We cannot "un-sell" information that has already been shared with attorneys. If your information was previously sold, those attorneys may still have it. However, we will not share your information with any new attorneys after processing your opt-out request.
